Stranded in the United States as the world shut down, Bennett found himself navigating the absurdity of pandemic-era America before being forced back to his childhood home in rural South Australia—back to his conservative, religious, and profoundly eccentric family. After over a year trapped in small-town isolation (with them), he finally made his way back to the U.S.… only to be arrested upon arrival.
